Some Changes

Just a quick Update,

I changed the look a little bit to accommodate the winter/holiday season. I've also added a links section on the right column. Those are links to websites I've come across relating to anxiety and panic that offer some great advice. I will post new sites whenever I come across some that I like.

Oh And I'm now on twitter, I've added a feed to the right.

PS. If you look above I've also added some animated fish just for fun!

Comments

  1. I dig the fish. Also, I'm really impressed you went out for holiday shopping in the middle of the madness. Walmart is always a zoo around here. We are planning to hit Best Buy this weekend, hope it isn't too crazy since I'm counting on spouse getting Skyrim for my Xbox for my big present this year. Oh yeah. Hope you have a great holiday season, and good luck with dealing with both working and buying from retail. Always fun. Keep on blogging.

  2. I've actually been hearing a lot about that Skyrim game. Quite a few of my co-workers have been talking about it, let me know how it is.

has it really been over a year

Where did the time go?! Im officially back and ready to get to work! I went through and re-read many of my old posts tonight and can't believe how far I've come. Even if nobody ever reads this, it leaves me with a great journal! I will be posting a full update tomorrow, I cannot write much more on this tablet! Goodnight.

Weekend Re-cap

Sorry for the lack of updates the past few days, I've been swamped. Sunday I went to a charity even in NY and had an amazing time despite the rain and getting lost. Came home later than I expected and spent the rest of the night watching TV until i fell asleep. Monday I went to work but only spent half day there because I had a doctors appointment at 1, which was great! Monday's at the office is extremely slow and boring. Got to my doctors appointment to hook up a heart monitor which i have to wear for a month because of my extra heart beats. The doctor thinks its fine but we just want to make sure that its not a problem. Luckily this is a smaller unit with only two contact points as compared to the first unit i got for 24 hours which was larger and had 8 or so contact points on my body. I have another appointment this Saturday with another doctor who's an endocrinologist. I've been going to the doctors for regular checkups just to rule out everything else to make sur...

Off days

Although things have been going pretty well, there are always OFF days where you don't feel like your normal self and in turn initiate anxious/uncomfortable feelings, thoughts, worries, ect. I had an anxiety attack randomly one day out of the blue, which caught me completely off guard. My day was going ok, nothing out of the ordinary when all of a sudden I get this rush that fills my mind with thoughts and instant anxiety. I was at work at the time and I simply stepped away from my desk and went for outside for a few minutes of air. Once I got over the initial anxiety I was just left with an uncomfortable feeling all day. I lost my appetite at lunch time but still ate something so I wouldn't start feeling worse from lack of food. At lunch I was able to call my mom and speak to her to help ease my mind. Got through the rest of the day without an issue. Ever since then, this happed quite a few weeks ago, I've been having up and down days. Some days I feel alright but some d...
